(Presidente Câmara Municipal de Jundiaí | 1960-1961)

Nasceu em Jundiaí, em 05 de agosto de 1907, filho de Joaquim Ferraz Júnior e Joaquina Godoy Ferraz.

Primeiro jundiaiense a se graduar pela Faculdade de Odontologia da Universidade de São Paulo – USP, exerceu a profissão de Cirurgião-Dentista.

Casado com Maria Basile Ferraz, é pai de Maria Estella Basile Ferraz, Maria Tereza Basile Ferraz, José Ricardo Basile Ferraz, e Maria Regina Basile Ferraz.

Aposentou-se no Sesi – Serviço Social da Indústria, após 30 anos de serviços prestados.

Foi presidente do Clube Jundiaiense por duas vezes e do Paulista Futebol Clube por seis vezes. Presidiu também o Aero Clube.

Um dos fundadores do Hospital Santa Rita de Cássia (atual Hospital Universitário) e do Rotary Clube de Jundiaí.

Fundador da Associação Paulista de Cirurgiões Dentistas – APCD de Jundiaí.
Eleito pela UDN para a 4.ª Legislatura (1960/1963), presidiu a Câmara Municipal no biênio 1960/1961.

Por iniciativa do Vereador Tarcísio Germano de Lemos, foi agraciado em 1981 com o título de “Vereador Honorário”, através do Decreto Legislativo n.º 221/1981.

Faleceu em 30 de outubro de 1984.

He retired from Sesi – Social Service Industry after 30 years of service.

He was president of Clube Jundiaiense twice and Paulista Futebol Clube six times. He also chaired the Aero Club.

One of the founders of Santa Rita de Cássia Hospital (now University Hospital) and the Rotary Club of Jundiaí.

Founder of the Paulista Association of Dental Surgeons – APCD Jundiaí.

Elected by the UDN for the 4th Legislature (1960/1963), he chaired the City Council in the 1960/1961 biennium.

At the initiative of Councilman Tarcísio Germano de Lemos, he was awarded in 1981 with the title of “Honorary Councilor”, through Legislative Decree No. 221/1981.

He died on October 30, 1984.
